2025 Community Grant Season Now Closed
Community Grant Eligibility
- Any qualified non-profit serving the Lewis-Clark Valley or surrounding areas may apply for the DeAtley Family Foundation Community Grant Award.
- Grants will open February 1st and close March 15th. No applications will be accepted beyond the close date.
- Award Announcements will be made no later than September 1st.
- All programs and projects that are meeting a significant need of the community will be considered; however; emphasis will be given to those who are providing assistance to cancer patients and their families, treatment/assistance and/or therapy for abused children, and/or providing assistance and guidance to youth, especially “at-risk” youth.
Community Grant Restrictions
- These grants are to benefit an organization’s programs, projects (not capital projects), and/or capacity.

- Programs are defined as activities with a particular long-term aim.
- Projects are defined as a specific plan or undertaking that benefits the organization but does not increase physical value.
- Capacity is defined as anything that adds helpful abilities to the organization.
- An organization may apply only one (1) time per year.
- An organization may apply for the same or different grants in subsequent years.
- The maximum amount any single organization can apply for is $15,000.00.
- The current Board of Directors of the DeAtley Family Foundation reserves the right to award less than the maximum and less than requested by any applicant.
- Any applications submitted outside of the application period will not be considered. The grant application period will be from February 1st – March 15th.
- Grants will be awarded and applicants notified no later than September 1st.
